Sustainability and Green Campus Section

The Sustainability and Green Campus Section plays a strategic role in advancing the university’s sustainability agenda by developing policies, frameworks, and guidelines that ensure consistent implementation of green practices across all levels. It also prepares periodic reports on sustainability initiatives for submission to management, supporting effective monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement. In addition, the section manages institutional data for international benchmarks such as the QS Sustainability Rankings, Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, and UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, helping to strengthen the university’s global standing.

Furthermore, the section serves as the Secretariat Body for the University Green Campus Sustainability Steering Committee, ensuring effective coordination of meetings, policies, and action plans. It also acts as a central coordinator for sustainability and green campus activities across faculties and departments, fostering collaboration and integration of initiatives. Through active promotion and strategic communication, the section enhances the visibility and impact of sustainability efforts, positioning the university as a leader in environmental stewardship at both local and international levels.
